Application:

Robust plug-in hinge for small doors, maintenance hatches, electronics housings and much more.

The compact push-in hinge B-56-L is used for the movable connection of small doors, flaps and housing parts.

Thanks to the two-part plug-in construction, the door can be lifted off the permanently mounted hinge part if necessary without having to unscrew the hinge.

The left-hand version enables targeted use with doors and equipment flaps hinged accordingly to the left.

With a height of only 35 mm (1-3/8″), the hinge is particularly suitable for compact device housings, measuring instruments as well as electronic and technical equipment.

The cold-rolled steel sheet ensures a stable construction, while the galvanized and chromated surface protects the steel from corrosion.

When using two hinges mounted on top of each other, the B-56-L lifting hinge is suitable for lightweight doors with a reference weight of 2 kg.

Assembly:

• The fastening is done with screws with approx. ⌀2.3 to 2.5 mm, preferably with a lens or round head (not included)
• The B-56-L push-in hinge is positioned on the door or flap and the associated frame or housing
• Pay attention to the left-hand version so that the hinge is mounted to match a left-hinged door or equipment flap
• First, the positions of the four mounting holes must be marked according to the hole pattern
• Depending on the material used, suitable fastening holes or pre-drillings must then be drilled
• The two hinge halves are attached to the movable and fixed component with suitable screws
• The hinge axes of at least two hinges mounted on top of each other must align exactly
• Then the moving part is attached to the hinge pin from above
• To remove the door or flap, it is lifted and removed from the permanently mounted hinge part
