The AK-60WT safety bolt handle is used to securely lock hinged and hinged doors and prevents unintentional opening in the event of vibrations.

When closing, the mechanism of the AK-60WT push-button latch handle automatically engages and keeps the door reliably closed with 196 N.

The AK-60WT push-button latch handle is suitable for door thicknesses from 15 mm (19/32″) to 25 mm (63/64″).

 

To open it, a gentle pressure on the push button recessed into the door front is sufficient; There are no handles or buttons, so that a smooth look is maintained.

The housing made of robust polyacetal (POM) is corrosion-resistant and suitable for the furniture and yacht sector.

The spacers included in the scope of delivery allow adaptation to different panel thicknesses.

 

The AK-C60WT cover cap, which is also included in the scope of delivery, can be used if necessary and neatly conceals cut edges.

Assembly:

 

• The fastening is done using the six screws included in the scope of delivery (6 pan head screws, self-tapping (2 pieces 3.5 x 15 mm, 2 pieces 3.5 x 20 mm and 2 pieces 4.0 x 15 mm))
• First, a milling must be carried out on the inside of the door
• The snap fastener is inserted flush and screwed with 3.5 x 15 mm or 3.5 x 20 mm binding head self-tapping screws
• The counter plate is positioned in the body with a center distance of 60.5 mm (2-3/8″) and screwed in place
• For panel thicknesses of less than 25 mm (63/64″), the supplied spacer plates are placed in between
• Finally, the function is tested by closing the door and opening it with pressure (for more details, see assembly drawing)
