Application:
Robust screw-on lock for cabinet doors, furniture doors, office cabinets, filing cabinets and much more.
The screw-on lock 14.01.062-5 is used for the reliable locking of furniture doors and cabinet doors made of wood or wood-based materials.
The left-hand locking version is specially designed for left-hinged doors and thus enables a suitably aligned locking. The cylinder with ⌀19 mm (3/4″) and 22 mm (55/64″) lengths allows for compact installation and is suitable for numerous typical furniture constructions.
The keyed D20 alike version allows the same key to be used for several appropriately coded locks, thus simplifying the operation of larger furniture systems.
The compact 40 x 40 mm (1-37/64″) lock housing requires little mounting space on the inside of the furniture door.
Design: left-hand-closing. Left-closing means that the furniture hinges are on the left side of the door and the door handle and lock are on the right side (view of the closed door from the outside).

Assembly:
- Fastening is done with countersunk wood screws ⌀3.5 to ⌀4 mm, length: 15 to 16 mm (not included)
- First, the position of the lock on the inside of the left furniture door must be determined using the backset of 25 mm (63/64″)
- After that, a suitable through-hole for the ⌀19 mm (3/4″) cylinder must be made
- The box lock is guided through the hole with the cylinder and aligned with the four mounting holes on the inside of the door
- The lock is then fastened with four suitable countersunk wood screws
- The matching strike plate or counterpart is positioned on the furniture body in such a way that the 20 mm (25/32″) wide bolt can engage without bracing when locking (for more details, see assembly drawing)
