The HG-TB30 torque hinge set consists of a left (HG-TB30L) and a right (HG-TB30R) hinge for a symmetrical, horizontally mounted flap guide.

Each hinge generates a constant torque of 3 N·m, thus enabling the flap to be continuously positioned within the appropriate load range.

Together, both hinges provide a nominal total torque of 6 N·m and distribute the load evenly on both sides.

 

The free-stop function holds the lid, displays or device flaps in the desired position without additional detent.

The mirror-image left-right design ensures clean installation and stable, controlled movement in both directions of rotation.

The robust SUS430 stainless steel structure is particularly suitable for appliances, furniture and technical installations.

Material:

• HG-TB30 friction hinges are made of high-quality SUS430 stainless steel (1.4016 or X6Cr17)

Assembly:

• First, the fastening positions on the flap and on the body or device housing must be marked and pre-drilled using the technical dimensional drawing
• The HG-TB30L is mounted on the left side and the HG-TB30R on the right side
• Both hinge axes must be exactly at the same height, aligned horizontally and aligned with each other
• For the required alignment margin, the mounting holes must be made slightly excessive according to the manufacturer’s specifications with a tolerance of C0.5
• The vertical legs are securely fastened with M5 countersunk screws and the horizontal legs with M5 pan head or cylinder head screws
• The flap must then be operated over the entire range of motion and the safe positioning in different opening positions must be checked
