The TH-25SUS (2233) crank hinge connects doors and flaps to housings where the mounting surfaces are not in the same plane due to a step or greater material thickness.
Due to the offset construction, it bridges the offset between the door and the frame and enables a clean and space-saving hinge connection.
The compact design of 35 mm (1-3/8″) x 25 mm (63/64″) is particularly suitable for smaller appliance, enclosure and maintenance doors.
All essential components, including the hinge pin, are made of SUS304 stainless steel, providing high corrosion resistance.
The polished hinge sashes also ensure a high-quality and easy-to-clean surface.
When using two hinges, Tochigiya specifies a reference door mass of 4.5 kg, which makes the TH-25SUS (2233) offset hinge particularly suitable for lightweight doors and flaps.

- First, the positions of the two hinge sashes on the door or flap and on the frame must be precisely determined and the four attachment points must be marked according to the hole spacing of 15 mm (19/32″) x 25 mm (63/64″)
- The required holes or threads are then prepared
- The step hinge is attached to the door and frame with two fastening screws per hinge leaf
- The offset shape must be aligned in such a way that the existing offset between the two mounting levels is compensated
- Before the screws are finally tightened, the door and frame must be aligned with each other and the free rotational movement of the hinge must be checked
- For a door mass up to the reference value of 4.5 kg specified by the manufacturer, two TH-25SUS crank hinges are provided.
